Tampereen yliopiston sukupuolentutkimuksen oppiaine järjestää yhteistyössä Suomen Sukupuolentutkimuksen Seuran (SUNS), Suomen Miestutkimuksen Seuran (SuMS), Suomen Queer-tutkimuksen Seuran (SQS) ja Transtutkimusverkoston kanssa 2.-3.5.2024 Paluu Juurille 2024 -konferenssin Tampereen yliopistossa. Konferenssin työryhmien abstraktikutsut on nyt julkaistu konferenssin verkkosivuilla. 

Lähetä oma abstraktisi (suomeksi, ruotsiksi tai englanniksi, enintään 300 sanaa, pdf-tiedostona) valitsemaasi työryhmään täyttämällä konferenssin verkkosivuilta löytyvä lomake viimeistään pe 23.2.2024. 

Työryhmään valituille ilmoitetaan abstraktin hyväksynnästä viimeistään pe 8.3.2024. Konferenssiin ilmoittautuminen aukeaa maaliskuussa. Niin paperin esittäjät kuin muutkin konferenssiin osallistujat maksavat konferenssin osallistumismaksun (50–95 e, perustutkinto-opiskelijoille ilmainen). Tarkemmat tiedot osallistumismaksuista ja ilmoittautumisesta löytyvät konferenssin verkkosivuilta.

CFP: Send your abstract to Return to the Roots 2024 conference by 23.2.2024

Feminist research, gender studies, queer studies, critical studies on men and masculinities, and trans studies share the same roots and political goals. Now, for the first time ever, the Finnish academic associations and networks representing these disciplines jointly organize a national conference. Gender Studies programme at Tampere University will hold Paluu Juurille 2024 (Return to the Roots 2024) conference at the City Centre Campus on 2-3 May 2024. The call for papers has now been opened at the conference website.

Please send the abstract of your paper (in Finnish, Swedish, or English, max. 300 words, as a pdf-file) to the workshop of your choice by using the form on the conference website by Friday 23^rd of February 2024.

Those selected to present their papers will be informed by 8^th of March 2024. The registration for the conference will open in March. Both the presenters and other participants will pay the conference fee (50–95 e, MA students’ participation is free).
